Choose the Right Adult Batting Glove Size
The right size should fit snugly around your fingers and palm without restricting movement or leaving excess material that bunches up when gripping the bat.
Measure your hand from the base of your palm to the tip of your middle finger, then compare your measurement with the sizes below.
Adult Size
Hand Measurement
Adult Small
7.25–7.5 inches
Adult Medium
7.5–7.75 inches
Adult Large
7.75–8 inches
Adult Extra Large
8–8.25 inches
Adult 2XL
8.25–8.5 inches
GOAThletic batting gloves run slightly larger than many major brands. If you're between sizes or prefer a tighter fit, consider sizing down. You can also check the GOAThletic batting glove size chart before ordering.
GOAT Leather Construction and Reinforcement
GOAThletic adult batting gloves use 0.8–0.9 mm GOAT leather throughout the glove, except for the knuckle sections and logos.
Key construction features include:
- Double stitching: Double-stitched construction around the glove for additional seam reinforcement.
- Extra palm padding: Additional GOAT leather padding reinforces the palm.
- Thumb-index reinforcement: Extra padding between the thumb and index finger, an area exposed to repeated contact with the bat.
- Lycra and neoprene: Used in the cuff and knuckle areas.
- Perforations: Incorporated into the design for ventilation.
These features reinforce high-contact areas while maintaining flexibility and comfort during batting.
Short Cuff vs. Long Cuff Adult Batting Gloves
The main difference between cuff styles is how much of your wrist they cover.
Short Cuff Batting Gloves leave more of your wrist uncovered. They're a practical choice if you prefer a lower-profile fit with less material around your wrist.
Long Cuff Batting Gloves extend farther over your wrist, offering additional coverage and a more enclosed fit.
Both styles use GOAT leather construction. Choose based on your preferred fit and wrist coverage.
Compare Origin and Legacy Adult Batting Gloves
GOAThletic offers two series distinguished by their color designs.
Origin Series: Features a black or white base with an accent color, including black and red or white and navy blue.
Legacy Series: Includes other color combinations, such as electric blue and pink or navy blue and powder blue.
Compare the available colors, adult sizes, cuff styles, and prices to find a pair that suits your preferences.
What to Consider Before Buying
Fit: Choose your size using hand measurements rather than relying on your usual glove size.
Cuff preference: Select short cuffs for less wrist coverage or long cuffs for a more enclosed fit.
Availability: Check the selected product's available sizes and colors, as options may vary by design.
